Brief Synopsis
The 801 TTS team is the place where the airforce dumps their unwanted personnel. The whole squad consists of all female pilots with a very light hearted commander. There's Haneda who has a fierce encounter with her previous commander, Mitaka who has an attitude problem, Shimorenjaku who is a mistake pilot and Saginomiya who is an avid gambler. Then came Isurugi who's an excellent maintainence guy with superb hearing and sight. His first day ended up being beated up by the two gorgeous Mitaka and Haneda due to a peeping accident. However, his arrival slowly changes the whole squad as his kindness and innocent heart began affecting them and slowly causes Haneda and Mitaka to fall in love with him. Then came the people who always wanted to disband the 801 TTS squad, seeing them as more a nuisance. Fortunately, with the superb navigation skills of Isurugi and Mitaka's outstanding piloting techniques, they thwarted their intention. But they are those people who don't give up easily and furthermore, the rivalry between Haneda and Mitaka began tearing the squad apart.

Opinion
The opening and ending song of this anime is wonderful as well as the cute and gorgeous art. The planes are superbly rendered in detail as well as the flying scenes. However, the most interesting part is the triangular love relationship between Isurugi, Haneda and Mitaka. Mitaka is arrogant and stubborn though she love Isurugi very much while Haneda is more open and honest about her feelings. Isurugi on the other hand loves both Mitaka and Haneda. The hillarious and touching scenes among them is the highlight of this short series. This is a wonderful anime and worth getting.
