Brief Synopsis
Mari is the girl who initiates the genius Karigari to create a perfect android. He succeeded in creating a perfect copy of his Mari with intelligence, own emotions and even learning capabilities. And as his friends found out later, Karigari had indicated this new android as Marie his sister whom no one has ever seen before. Marie on the other hand is exactly like Mari in terms of looks except for a different hair color and her function is to see that her 'brother' to be happy. This means she will try her best in getting Mari and Karigari together. However, the complications began when she developed feelings of desire to be with Karigari. Slowly, Marie was falling in love with her creator. Being realistic she discarded these thoughts but it was easier being said than done.

Opinion
My Dear Marie is a wonderful comedy with a touch of romance, action and for those ecchi fans, a bit of ecchiness and nudity. The story revolves around Marie the lovable android who try to make her brother happy but couldn't help falling in love with him. We journey through her own emotions through funny android dreams in one OVA. But the nicest thing is that she still keep trying to bring Mari and Karigari together even when her heart felt pain in doing so. In the OVA however, later, Karigari seemed to developed feelings for Marie too, yet this is still unknown to be at what level but it was quite heart warming to see Karigari caring for Marie for a change.
