Magical Project S

Ramia and Romio are out of the running for Queen of Juraihelm. Chosen instead was Tsunami. But before she can claim the throne, the scales of justice must be balanced on Earth. To do this, Tsunami must choose someone to be her champion.

4th grader Sasami Kawaii is chosen as that champion, and is given the Baton. Ryo-Ohki is made her mentor, and it's up to him to train her as Pretty Sammy.

Standing in Sammy's way is Pixy Misa. It seemed that despite not being chosen as Queen, Ramia was still going to try. And to do that, she had to keep the scales balanced towards Chaos. To do this, she chose her own "Magical Girl" and gave her similar powers as Sammy has. Rumiya, Ramia's brother..(are you getting all this?) is the one who changes the person chosen into Pixy Misa.

Who, oh who, is chosen as Rumia's champion? ;Why, it's Sasami's Best Friend Misao. A shy girl who cares a great deal for Sasami.

Each week, Sammy and Pixy Misa fight it out... more like Sammy fights Misa's Love Love monsters. Creations of magic from Misa. Oh, and Misao has no idea that she's Pixy Misa.

This series is very amusing, and in later episodes, quite emotional. There's some references to other anime's, Like Pixy Misa on the space shuttle in a Queen Emeraldas getup, facial scar and all.

This series is only availiable, thus far, in subtitled. I'm a strong Dubbed fan, but I liked what I had seen, so I decided to go out and buy this series. I definately don't regret it. I highly recommend this series for -Any- anime fan, not just Tenchi fans.

People call this a "sort of Parody" of Sailor Moon. But I just don't see it. This, I think, is fairly different. I mean, you've got normal girl made superhero, and villian to fight. What series of anything, Japanese or American doesn't really have that sort of story? Yanno?

OVA

Starts out kind of odd, but in a good way, gets better and funnier. Of course, with the cast of Tenchi in it, plus the addition of Sasami's mother(A karoke addict) Sasami's best friend Misao. Then the "villians", so to speak, Pixy Misa(adorable too) a dark version of Pretty Sammy who speaks occasional french, Biff Standard(Who is Bill Gates, I am sure), and some other people whose names escape me at the moment. I'll be sure to update this as soon as I can when I get the info.

Work in Progress. This page needs a TON of work. IT needs to have included the 13 episodes of the remarkable TV series, which was absolutely excellent.
