Brief Synopsis
This story features a delinquent who died and then resurrected with unearthly powers to work as a heavenly detective to investigate any activities from the residents of the demon world. The resurrection brings a big change towards the hero, Urameshi Yusuke's attitude and personality. As he slowly discover his new found gift, he faces manystornger opponent in battle mainly his would be allies. However, due to his honor, fighting spirit and his love for his friends brought a change in 2 of those, namely Kurama and Hiei. Apart from this two lies a huge rivalry between Yusuke and his schomate Kuwabara. However,seeing Yusu possesses some psychic power has led Kuwabara to train harder to gather his own powers. Fortunately his family line boasts an existence of psychic power as well. These four aided by the secretary of heavens, Botan solves quest and mysteries by usually beating the enemy into a pulp.

Opinion
This anime is much like Dragonball style, battle all the way with some additional plot in between. However, the only one thing which stands out is that the combat scenarios are shorter than Dragonball and not so exaggerating. Each and every opponent also sort of possesses a special destructive blow which makes the anime more fun to watch. Apart from that, this anime do bring up the issue of friendship a lot, usually in terms of sacrificing one's life to protect those you care. Overall not a very deep anime until the end which have lots of unanswered questions
