When House Lathadoscia and House Questrion decided to get together and have a competition amongst themselves, followed by Ellisa Morgan gathering a group together to duel Questrion the following week, Gnort Knew this would be something of interest. He wanted in and formed his own quick team. Not long after, Iain MacKenzie reformed an idea of his from old, the Rhydin Team Dueling League, and made it an organized event. Ten teams stepped forward, Gnorts being one of them. He selected the duelers he thought were respectable outside the ring as well as in, and had some skill with a blade, or whatever weapon was preferred by them. So was born Rhydin Dueling Team Dragoon-Talanador for the 514 Season.
Upon the second season, 515, Gnort requested for a second team to be admitted into the league, and thus was born the Jade Gryphons, captained by his longtime and best friend, Drakewyn Anastasia Alabaster. As a result of two HDT teams in the league, Gnort then changed the name of his team to the Company of the Dragon(CDR), his old adventuring group name.
The Third Season was 516 and saw CDR with a fairly decent group. Some changes made and some additions added. Noone truly thought they'd do all that well, G'nort, himself, included. But by the end of the Third Season, CDR took everyone by storm and came out with a 3rd place finish overall in the league, making it to the playoffs for the first time in Franchise History. Though they didn't win the championship, they did lose out to the eventual champions. And in any case, G'nort was definitely proud of his group.
Season 517 wasn't as notable as the previous season, but the Company still managed to finish first in the division, and made the playoffs for the second consecutive season with a respectable 8-6 record.
The Company began its fifth season as one of the five remaining original teams in TDL with a different lineup. Some old faces are returning to the team is Dave Auerbach, the former captain of Team Loincloth, Gimmzak, resident schedule problemmaker, and that Phantom guy.
The Company took to its 6th season in the Team Dueling League, with resident CDR team Gnort, Phantom, Rico and Slothy. Joining them this time around are MVP Avery Shiv Blade, Aislain Uziel, Charlie Jericho, and Argus Braden. This team looked exceptional, and proved that they were by having a dominating season that included successfully winning the MacKenzie Cup as Season 519 TDL Champions. Phantom was the Postseason MVP by having back to back shutouts.
In season 520, the 7th for CDR as they returned as the League champions, having taken the overall title in the tournament in season 519, soundly defeating their opponents, also remaining from the first season, Atrebla. Returning to the team that season was still Gnort as captain, Argus Braden, fresh off a rookie season where he performed satisfactorily, Slothy, who was always present, Rico, hoping to destroy the previous seasons shortcomings by doing well once more, the Phantom, who had a stellar season and even better playoff performance. Joining was Tareth Thorn, who supplies the Green, and Elle McBride, who was on team HDT/CDR for the First Season of TDL.
Season 521 for CDR had Tareth returning, but this time as captain, while G took over the assistant captain spot, gaining a much needed vacation. Exiting the team after season 520's Silver division championship was Elle, Phantom, Slothy, Rico, and Avery, who really didn't show up much at all. Returning with G and Tareth were Gus, but he had to leave the league after the week three duels due to personal strife. New to the team are a bunch of babes, starting with Onyx Solare, who dueled for CDR in a previous season; Caedia Thorn, Tareth's sister; Veronica L. Starr, whose skill in the ring really doesn't matter, cause it's clear she's major eye candy; Utena Tenjou, young, cute, and skilled with a blade; and finally Tropher Gopher, who is one cool rodent. Least I think he's a rodent.
Season 522 had G'nort returning to the team as Captain. And taking over the Assistant captain spot is new addition and G's lovely girlfriend(later wife), lover, babe, and closest companion, Kaja Adair. Also returning to the team were Onyx, Utena, Tareth, and Caedia. Leaving the team of 521 were Tropher, who kept skipping out on duels, Veronica, who got a better movie deal, and replacement Hooters girl Mayda Dupris. Filling the empty spots were Stick, a rather hot woman who is a close friend to Kaja, and Sticks pal Yawgi, of whom little is known. CDR had the highest ranking roster to start the season.
Season 523 showed promise with the addition of longtime TDL personalty Alyxz Taliesen, the return of Team Captain Gnort, Tareth Thorn, Caedia Thorn, Kaja Adair and Charlie Jericho. Gnort scoured the lands for any promising talent and came up with only two. A Japanese Samurai named Omi and a bolg named Gunthor. This would go down in franchise history as the worst season ever for G and the Company. They managed only 4 team wins and 10 losses. This was an embarrassing situation and made it clear to G'nort that some significant changes were going to be needed in order to return to a competitive status.
Season 524 starts out with the suggestion that season 523 be completely forgotten, as performances were well below par across the board. This time, returning to the team are Gnort, Tareth, Caedia, Charlie and Alyxz. Out are Gunthor, Omi and Kaja, who rumor has is locked away in G'norts pleasure rooms ever since they got married. Returning to the team on loan from Ohtori Academy is another TDL regular Utena Tenjou. New to the team is "The Nephew" Grayson MacLeod. CDR looked to have a rather strong lineup and were considered to be among the teams expected to challenge for the Title. This season finished respectably with an 8-6 record, which was far superior to season 523.
Season 525, Returning to the team are Gnort, Tareth, Caedia, Charlie, Grayson and Utena. Out was Alyxz and new to the team is Daryl Kyle. A late addition to the team was Delphius Jo-Kun. It seemed a team full of potential and promise, however injuries depleted the line-up of the great CDR team and caused them to need to rely on a plethora of free agents who performed at far less than they could have. This caused the team to falter later on in the season and end up in third place overall, with a .500 record. This was made more unfortunate due to the cease of operations of the Team Dueling League.
The colors for the Company of the Dragon are Shadow Grey and Dark Blue, chosen colors due to a pair of dragons defeated by the old company during Gnorts involvement with the group.

| G'nort Espelande G'neesmacher Dragoon Talanador. Team Captain once more for CDR. And if they don't like how he acts, they have to live with it, as they brought it onto themselves. He believes he could have done better these seasons for CDR, his records aren't ground breaking, to say the least, but they also aren't that bad, especially considering the starts he's had. In his time in the League, He has developed a few special moves of his own. The Plinko!!, the Fancy Pirouette and G'nort 3:16. All of which are registered trademarks of HDT Enterprises. He is also the TDL Record holder for Most Duels, Most Wins, and is one of the longest active duelists in TDL. | Guy III, brings me the Green. Some weird drink that's rather tasty and can knock you on your ass, and is also his salary. Hired as a bodyguard at the end of the 519 championship season, he joined full time and captained the team for the 521 season. Once more dueling for CDR, and is looking to be the franchise duelist of the team after Gnort. |

| Caedia Thorn. A cutie from long ago who is modern, sexy, tough, the bomb, and sorta messed up in the head from a few too many accidents, I think. Anyway, we got her to re-join the team. Providing her opponents show up and respond to any inquiries about dueling times, and keep good communication skills, things should run nicely. | Charlie Jericho. Model employee of HDT Enterprises. Calendar girl, Literal model, She who brings in young men to the stands to just watch her bend over. Many a young adult as lost their virginity to her swimsuit posters. |

| Daryl Kyle was a midseason aquisition. Upon becoming available for signing by a team, G was quick to contact Daryl and offer a suitable contract for his services. He performed well. | Grayson MacLeod. At some point during his dueling experience, Grayson was referred to as Gnorts nephew. It stuck, and finally after many years, Grayson has agreed to join CDR as a member of the dueling club. His experience and talent will be very valuable in making CDR the contender it is. |

| Utena Tenjou. Once more on "loan" from Ohtori Academy, Utena brings a stability and cuteness to the team of CDR that will guarantee them a contender status this season. Her overall TDL record, while unimpressive, remains solid enough to make her one to watch out for. |
